THE TEAM BEHIND THE TRADITION
Ed started Ever-Bloom in 1979 after working with his father at Maximum Nursery. The road to gerbera daisies was planted with gypsophilia, tulips, mums, alstromeria, lily’s, and liatris. Ed has been perfecting gerbera growing since 1983, and feels very fortunate being in Carpinteria, the world’s most ideal gerbera climate.
Eduard’s son, Ivan, like generations of Van Wingerden’s before him, grew up in the flower growing tradition, and in 2011 began working full-time at the company. He is currently in charge of operations, projects, and training to take over the reins from Ed in the future.
Spring has been on Ever-Bloom’s sales team since 1999. In 2014 she was promoted to sales manager and continues to offer the great service that Ever-Bloom customers expect. Any questions about varieties, packaging options, or general sales, Spring will answer with her usual knowledgeable and charismatic style.
Gaby is the newest addition to the sales team. She assists Spring with sales and is ready to help fulfill your order. We are thrilled to have her on board with us!
Jennifer, our very diligent shipping clerk and receptionist, ensures that all of our boxes of gerberas arrive at their respective destinations. She has been with the company since 2001 and has always performed with unflagging precision and cheerful attitude
Roberto has been with Ever-Bloom since the very beginning, being Ed’s very first employee in 1979. His hands have transformed Ever-Bloom from an old lemon orchard to a high-tech greenhouse with quality gerbera production. He manages greenhouse operations, including: growing, climate, picking schedules, quality control, and pest management. Ever-Bloom’s gerbera’s are in good hands.
